Kyiv, August 13 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Ukrainian authorities, on orders from Washington, do not allow Russian humanitarian aid into the Donbass, because Kyiv and the Americans benefit from the growth of the crisis, Russian expert Pavel Nikanorov told the Russian Navigator.

“The fact that there is such an informational, political and organizational chaos around the humanitarian convoy is not surprising. Kyiv and Obama are extremely interested in the expansion of the humanitarian catastrophe in Donetsk and Lugansk. The wider it is, the more difficult it is for the militia to resist. Hollande and Merkel, in general, don’t care: they wish everything would end quickly with this Novorossiya. But publicly, for the whole world, they (especially Merkel and Holland) could not refuse Moscow’s desire to help the suffering population. Therefore, having given formal consent (with reservations), the Germans and French turn a blind eye to how Poroshenko and Obama are causing all sorts of obstacles to the convoy under various “plausible” pretexts, trying to turn the “humanitarian action of the Russians” into pure profanation. And already all together (so that the angry Russians do not even think of crossing the border in an area controlled by the militia) - they threaten to accuse Moscow of a direct invasion. This is all obvious. Only one thing is interesting now: what Putin will do. He will agree to all the humiliating conditions, hand over the cargo and practically “leave” the action or, after all, get angry,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

According to him, transferring the cargo to the Ukrainian side at the border is unacceptable, since in this case the humanitarian aid simply may not reach Lugansk, controlled by the rebels.

“This is one moment. The other is that, having received the cargo into its own hands, Kyiv will in every possible way delay the transfer of it to the address and manipulate the situation: blame the militia for not providing a corridor. They cannot agree among themselves and cease fire. Or that, having received the first part, the militia did not transfer the cargo to civilians, but “looted” the humanitarian aid and took everything for themselves, and what’s more, there were even shootouts between groups for the cargo, etc.,” predicts Nikanorov .
