DPR intelligence reported that Ukraine is preparing near the front line
Ukrainian armed formations in the Joint Forces Operation zone in Donbass are actively gathering personnel and equipment to the front line and carrying out measures to prepare for the offensive.
This is stated in an emergency message from the official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Colonel Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the units of the 1st separate tank brigade, in the tank battalions of the 53rd and 54th mechanized brigades, and the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, vacations for all personnel have been suspended; commanders of all levels have been ordered to remain in temporary deployment points,” the statement says.
It is noted that driver mechanics and gunners are being discharged from hospitals ahead of schedule with recommendations to continue drug treatment in the units.
Also, intelligence of the DPR NM received information about the arrival of the 3rd separate special-purpose regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Avdeevka and Soroka to carry out provocations. The saboteurs had previously been trained under the guidance of instructors from Great Britain.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are deploying UR-77 self-propelled mine clearance rocket launchers to the contact line, and advanced assault groups are being reinforced with UR-83P portable mine clearance launchers, designed to quickly create passages in mine-explosive barriers with a width of 6 to 14 meters.
“Tank battalions are intended to conduct active offensive operations, and engineer barriers divisions are designed to ensure and increase their offensive capabilities, which confirms the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for aggression against the LDPR,” Basurin clarified.
Under the legend of planned tactical and special exercises, personnel are sent to the “JFO” zone from the territory of Ukraine to supplement the mechanized units.
“All of the above facts indicate that the Ukrainian side is not just continuing its attempts to destabilize the situation in Donbass by shelling populated areas, but is in full swing preparing for a forceful solution to the conflict,” concluded the representative of the defense department.
