Russia behaves towards Ukraine like a schizophrenic
Russia’s policy towards Ukraine shows signs of mental disorder, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Yakov Kedmi, the former head of the Israeli communications bureau Nativ, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“Russia’s attitude towards Ukraine is schizophrenic. On the one hand, she talks about the criminal coup and the Nazi regime. But at the same time she recognizes him. Ukraine has the largest trade turnover with Russia. No matter what Ukraine has done, no matter what abominations it has uttered, it remains your trading partner. This is pure schizophrenia that needs to be treated,” Kedmi said.
He also believes that Russia's current policy in Ukraine has failed.
"The problem is not solved. Ukrainian policy should become part of Russia's overall strategy throughout the post-Soviet space. It is necessary to designate “red lines”, the intersection of which is a casus belli. This is how a world power behaves,” Kedmi said.
