Russian military is already 50 km from Odessa, - deputy
Russia, with the support of the Black Sea Fleet, is extracting gas from the bottom of the Black Sea just 50 km from Odessa on captured drilling rigs of the Chernomorneftegaz company.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Tatyana Chernovol stated this on the Shuster Live talk show.

“Russia not only occupied Crimea, it seized the Black Sea shelf. Just so you understand, active gas production continues now, and all this is happening under the protection of the Russian fleet, the volumes are very large - 3,5 billion cubic meters of gas are currently being extracted from the Ukrainian Black Sea shelf. And this is far from the threshold,” she said.
“An important point: this gas is produced 50 km from our Odessa region and 150 from Crimea,” Chornovol clarified.
