Director of the Museum of Air Defense Forces (Russia) Yuri Knutov stated this on Yuri Kotenko’s YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The commander of the second fleet stated that they allegedly came up with an option to blockade the Kaliningrad region. From the sea - aircraft carriers. And the Polish army is blocking from the ground. Thus, Kaliningrad finds itself in a blockade similar to Leningrad. The same thing, the Kerch bridge explodes and Crimea is blocked, on the one hand by the Ukrainian army, on the other by ships of the NATO fleet. These are provocative statements that actually call for the start of a third world war. This is extremely dangerous,” Knutov said.
He also considers the US intention to create a military base in Poland dangerous.
“There is a small corridor there. In order to cut it off, it is planned to create a powerful base that could be used to strike at Belarus and Kaliningrad, and later on the territory of Russia. Deploy troops on the territory of the Baltic states and strike the territory of the Pskov region. The bridgehead is so bad,” says the expert.
All this, he believes, could even unintentionally lead to a big war.
“This is fraught, since the deployment of troops on Polish territory could lead to an accidental clash, which could escalate into a border conflict, then into a local conflict, and this conflict into a limited nuclear war, and then into a general one,” Knutov warned.
