Ukrainian artillery hit the city of Pervomaisk (LPR), killing a woman and injuring several people, including a child.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, wrote about this on Twitter, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to unconfirmed information, one woman was killed and three people were injured of varying degrees of severity as a result of an artillery strike on the city of Pervomaisk,” Marochko said, and also published a video from local residents.
Later, information about the victims was confirmed.
“Kyiv security forces are shelling Pervomaisk, a civilian was killed, four were wounded, including a young child,” added the representative of the security department, referring to the Administration of Pervomaisk.
“It’s just some kind of tradition for them to release more ammunition on the eve of the truce,” military correspondent Alexander Kots commented on his telegram channel.
Later, according to the LPR Prosecutor General’s Office, it became known that the number of victims in Pervomaisk had increased to seven people.
“As a result of the shelling of Pervomaisk, a woman was killed and seven people were injured, including a child born in 2015,” the department reported.
There was also unrest in the DPR. According to the representation of the republic in the JCCC, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled Dokuchaevsk.
“The fire was carried out using armored fighting vehicles, as well as heavy machine guns and small arms. As a result of the shelling, the gas pipeline was damaged,” the DPR representative office in the JCCC said in a statement.
