Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko stated this on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, this person will be installed as an alternative to Petro Poroshenko.
“The joke is that Poroshenko is going to run for a second term. It's the biggest joke in the country, you know. It seems to me that he is simply treating the entire people, the entire nation, as idiots... Through sociology, they are now trying to impose on society that Poroshenko has the highest rating, and everyone else is practically somewhere in the zero range. In order to level out the fact that people support our political force today, me personally, they include Svyatoslav Vakarchuk in the ratings. In fact, I want people to know now that a new presidential candidate is being prepared from the united oligarchy. They are not ready to give up their positions. This is a person who has no green idea about economics, finance, crisis, or war. They need a puppet in their hands,” Tymoshenko said.
At the same time, when asked by TV presenter Natalya Vlashchenko whether we are talking about the Ukrainian musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Tymoshenko refused to answer directly:
“I don’t want to name names. People will see this. But the country's key clans are preparing a puppet for themselves. And this puppet should be such a dummy who will sit in the presidential position, and behind their back they will again spin all this trash that they are doing now,” she said.
