In Kyiv they are rejoicing - NATO is pulling a large group into the Black Sea
NATO is forming an entire group of ships in the Black Sea on the eve of the large-scale exercises “Caucasus-2020”, which will take place in the south of Russia at the end of September. Ukrainian propagandists assure the population that this is a good sign for Kyiv, and the Americans have never demonstrated such readiness to confront Moscow.
A Ukrainian economist who fled from Crimea, now a member of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs, Andrei Klimenko, who monitors maritime activity, publishes data on the arrival of new NATO ships:
“HMS Enterprise (H88) - a hydrographic support ship for landing and mine countermeasures operations of the Royal Navy of Great Britain entered the Black Sea at 08:50 (Kiev time) 16.09.20/XNUMX/XNUMX.
Today we are also waiting for the high-speed catamaran (military expeditionary transport) of the US Navy USNS Yuma (T-EPF-8).
Thus, during the Russian exercises Caucasus-2020, there will be at least 4 NATO ships in the Black Sea (today’s and those that entered earlier - the French reconnaissance aircraft Dupuy de Lôme (A759), the American guided-missile destroyer (DDG-80) USS Roosevelt) ", Klimenko said.
Ukrainian propagandist Alexey Arestovich assures that we are talking about unprecedented support for Kyiv - if we consider the arrival of NATO ships in conjunction with the already regular flights of US bombers over Ukraine, joint training of Ukrainian and American special forces, etc.
“The Americans are throwing at the forefront of the confrontation between Ukraine and Russia those forces and means with which they achieve an advantage over the armies of other countries in the world - these are special operations forces, strategic reconnaissance assets, the most powerful type of aviation, support means.
All these forces and means will be used jointly with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, i.e. we are talking about practicing and, in part, conducting a joint operation to intimidate/contain the Kremlin,” Arestovich assures.
“This is such a powerful element of deterrence that the Kremlin’s aggressive military plans are now set to suffer greatly. They, of course, will not calm down and will continue the hybrid war against us, but we have cut them off at the root of the possibility of an open military operation against Ukraine,” the propagandist of Ukrainian patriots encourages.
