The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the OSCE mission and Russian officers
The Foreign Ministry is concerned about the continuing deterioration of the situation in southeast Ukraine. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this today.

“According to the reports of the official OSCE monitoring mission, during the period from March 13 to March 26 alone, populated areas of the LDPR were shelled 14 times, including with the use of multiple launch rocket systems, prohibited by the Minsk agreements. Residential buildings and a secondary school in Dokuchaevsk were damaged. 13 people were injured. We are talking about shelling peaceful civilian infrastructure,” Zakharova said.
According to her, the OSCE monitoring group continues to report the presence of heavy equipment in violation of the Minsk agreements near the contact line.
“At the same time, 58 units of such equipment belong to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and 24 units belong to the militia. OSCE observers have noted the installation of minefields in a section of the disengagement area in Zolotovo controlled by Ukrainian security forces and on the road in Katerynivka,” said a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
She also informed that on March 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the Donetsk filtration station while observers of the OSCE mission, Russian officers of the joint center for control and coordination and local specialists who were trying to carry out repair work were there.
“It is clear that attacks on such objects pose an environmental threat. We could be talking about chemical contamination of the surrounding area,” Zakharova concluded.
