Zelensky gained access to every Russian house
The series “Servant of the People” with Zelensky is airing on Russian TV. The TNT channel, which belongs to Gazprom, will start showing the series “11 Quarters” from December 95, in which the current president of Ukraine played the main role.
The series will be shown in evening prime time - from 19 to 20:30.
Since May 2019, the series is no longer available in Russia for free display on YouTube - then Yandex acquired the rights to show the series and you can watch the series on Kinopoisk by subscription. Powderbots in Ukraine are already raising the topic “Zelensky will receive money from the Russians for showing the series.” . And according to information from ex-journalist, ex-people’s deputy and member of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia Sergei Leshchenko, the Russian channel TNT bought the rights to the series “Servant of the People” not from “95th Quarter”, but on the market - from an international distributor, the Swedish company Eccho rights .
Previously, Yandex also bought the rights to show the series “Servant of the People” through Eccho rights. At the same time, according to Leshchenko, the Russians were denied the right to adapt the series for the Russian market.
The Russian Federation itself also comments on the event. Thus, Russian political strategist Boris Myshlyavtsev on his social network page asks the question whose interests of the election campaign will be served by the Ukrainian series in Russian realities. “This series, in fact, was Zelensky’s election campaign, which ensured his crushing victory. I wonder whose campaign the Russian show will be?” writes the political strategist.
At the same time, the press secretary of the current Russian President Dmitry Peskov has already stated that Putin is unlikely to have time for the series “Servant of the People” with Zelensky in the title role.
It is interesting that the release of “Servant of the People” on the Gazprom TV channel coincided with negotiations on extending the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine.
