American volunteers deliver vodka to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front lines
During a surprise inspection of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces battalions on the front line in the zone of the Ukrainian “Joint Forces Operation”, almost two dozen drunken soldiers were identified.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, spoke about this, citing intelligence data, at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the 24th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the deterioration of military discipline continues against the background of the use of alcohol and drugs by military personnel.
Thus, after an accident involving servicemen of the 3rd battalion in a state of intoxication, which occurred on June 3, the military law enforcement service carried out a surprise check of the battalion personnel. As a result of the inspection, 18 military personnel were identified as being in a state of alcoholic intoxication in forward positions in the area of the Troitskoye settlement.
In his explanation, a soldier of the 3rd company, Saitov, reported that a box of Medoff strong alcoholic beverages was brought by volunteers of the Spirit of America organization along with protective masks painted in the yellow and blue colors of the Ukrainian flag. Military personnel from other brigades of the OTG “North” received similar gifts,” Osadchiy said.
In addition, according to him, a cache with 1 grams of dried cannabis was discovered at the location of the 150st company of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“When 80 company soldiers were sent for testing to identify traces of marijuana, it turned out that there was no rapid test team at the medical center. Thus, the use and distribution of drugs in the unit remained unpunished. The bag of cannabis was not documented in the seizure report and subsequently disappeared without a trace,” the defense department spokesman added.
