State Duma Deputy: These are not real sanctions yet
The introduction by Russia of restrictions against a number of individuals and legal entities in Ukraine is not real sanctions.
Alexey Zhuravlev, a member of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, said this on air on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are following the 1001st Chinese warning here. In fact, these are not sanctions yet. Compared to their sanctions, we have 1750 of our citizens and about 400 legal entities under Ukrainian sanctions.
We warned for a long time and, in the end, said: guys, enough is enough.
To block Ukraine, two sanctions are needed. We and Belarus supply most of the petroleum products. We supply 66% of coal. Once - that's all. These are sanctions,” Zhuravlev said.
