Kyiv, March 29 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The ruling party “Batkivshchyna” is beginning to make the same claims as the ousted Viktor Yanukovych - infringement of freedom of speech and an encroachment on the social rights of citizens.

It was under these slogans that the central office of the party of Yulia Tymoshenko and Arseniy Yatsenyuk was picketed in Kyiv last night on Friday. The organizer of the picket was the Autonomous Union of Workers (an anarcho-syndicalist organization).
During the action, they repeatedly reminded that the inherently anti-democratic bill on peaceful assemblies had previously been lobbied by deputies from Batkivshchyna - Irina Lutsenko, Andriy Shevchenko and Mustafa Dzhemilev. Anarchists have a special attitude towards the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. On the one hand, they said that the ruling coalition was “trying to build Russian-style totalitarianism in Ukraine,” on the other hand, they said “let billionaire ministers fight among themselves, not ordinary people.”
Batkivshchyna’s coalition partners, the Svoboda party, also suffered a blow, which the protesters also hold responsible for the current state of affairs in the country. The anarchists promised to picket Svoboda's office next time.
