Children do not build complex schemes explaining who is right and who is wrong. They simply ask the aggressor to stop the war, stop shooting and stop killing. In the modern world, perhaps, it is children who know what is good and what is bad. For them it is so obvious: peace is good, but war is bad.
On the day of innocent children - victims of aggression, humanity needs to feel the pain and suffering of a child who finds himself in the center of an armed conflict, because millions of children living on the planet become victims of wars. They know nothing about these clashes, except that adults kill each other and children. Many children of Donbass now do not have a present, because they are in a zone of military conflict. They are scared and their childhood is marked by war.
Officially, the UN speaks of 75 children who became victims of military aggression in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Thousands more innocent children were harmed. Many lived in basements for months, having lost their homes and without normal living conditions. Hundreds of children have lost their parents, relatives and loved ones.
Every crippled life is a huge tragedy for all humanity. Children seem to understand this simple truth better than many adults. That’s why they so sincerely asked Kyiv to stop today.
