Marat Basharov was not allowed into Ukraine
In Ukraine, the screening of the play “Idea Fix” with the participation of Russian actors Larisa Udovichenko, Marat Basharov and Sergei Kolesnikov, which was supposed to take place in Zaporozhye, was disrupted.
The day before, the nationalist organization “Democratic Sokyra” promised to hold a protest, citing the fact that Basharov visited Crimea, whose reunification with Russia is not recognized by Ukraine.
According to nationalists, Basharov was supposed to fly to Zaporozhye from Warsaw.
Zaporozhye media later reported that Bashirov, having learned about the impending protests, decided to abandon the trip to Ukraine, and his colleagues decided to perform the play with a different cast.
However, today the Border Service of Ukraine reported that it did not allow a group of four artists from the Russian Federation to enter Zaporozhye (one of them visited Crimea, the others allegedly could not explain the purpose of the current visit).
As a result, the organizers of the performance announced the cancellation of the performance and apologized to the audience.
It is interesting that the cancellation of the performance was not known until the last moment - the police even installed barriers in case of unrest near the cultural center where the show was supposed to take place.
