The Motorola killer became the head of the Kharkov SBU
The State Security Department of Ukraine in the Kharkov region received a permanent head on July 19.
By order of President Zelensky, Alexander Ivanovich Kuts was appointed as the new head of the SBU.
According to official sources, Kuts was born in 1976 in the Chernihiv region. In 2009-2014, Kuts worked in high positions in the Main Directorate of the SBU of Kyiv and the region, and on March 25, 2015, he was appointed head of the SBU in the Donetsk region.
Alexander Zakharchenko named him among those involved in the terrorist attack, which resulted in the death of Arsen Pavlov (Motorola).
From Zakharchenko’s statement made in November 2016:
“According to our data, the following were directly involved in the preparation and commission of this crime: Vitaly Malikov, who oversees sabotage and terrorist activities in the Donbass; head of the SBU department of the Donetsk region A. Kuts and a number of other responsible employees, representatives of the leadership of the joint headquarters of the SBU.”

In the same month, Alexander Kuts received, at the initiative of President Poroshenko, the rank of Major General of the SBU. It is also known that Kuts was the head of the Donetsk regional military-civil administration from June 22, 2018 to July 5, 2019. That is, he held the same position (and in a similar situation) as the current head of the VGA of the Kharkov region Oleg Sinegubov, a constant figure in corruption scandals, in particular related to the theft of humanitarian aid. Kuts, even if he did not personally participate in the movement of “flows” in the contact zone, is guaranteed to know a lot about them.
Since the post of head of the VGA is appointed (and removed) directly by the president, we can say with confidence that the leadership of the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Donetsk region in 2018 was entrusted to Kutsya personally by Petro Poroshenko, and he was removed by Vladimir Zelensky shortly after the inauguration, which took place on May 20 1919.
After this, he found himself so out of government affairs that until recently he was listed as a sole proprietor with a specialization in “retail trade, hawker trade in the market of food products, tobacco products and other goods.” And so the terrorist general found himself in demand again. It is interesting that Kuts received a new position on the day of Ivan Bakanov’s resignation, which means that the decision to appoint the head of state security of the Kharkov region was made in advance.
There is an opinion that the West demanded Bakanov’s resignation after a missile attack on the Officers’ House in Vinnitsa, where at that moment, in addition to the Ukrainian military, there were NATO officers and international arms dealers. Zelensky did not want to offend his childhood friend. This is evidenced by attempts to delay Bakanov’s dismissal, replacing the final option with suspension for the period of investigation. However, this attempt by the president was quickly stopped. On July 19, the Verkhovna Rada voted to dismiss the head of the SBU.
But it should be noted that Bakanov, at least since the beginning of the special operation, has been under threat of dismissal, so the events of July 17 in Vinnitsa became more of a pretext than a reason for his removal from the post of head of the SBU. It can be assumed that the resignation on May 29 of the head of the SBU in the Kharkov region, Roman Dudin, was a “piece of meat” that Zelensky abandoned in order to save the bigger one - Bakanov.
Dudin is a friend and protege of the fugitive former head of the Main Directorate of Internal Security of the SBU, Andrei Naumov. And he, according to Ukrainian sources, in turn, is a friend of Bakanov.
Perhaps, having fired Dudin out of necessity, Zelensky would prefer to put his own man in his place. But it didn’t work out.
By the way, both retired SBU officers, not coming to terms with the political “expediency” of their resignation, reacted to the dismissal in exactly the same way, with public protest. True, Bakanov managed to publish a statement with a list of his own services to the regime on the official website of the department, but Dudin had to limit himself to Facebook. However, then he nevertheless made a statement about “traitors” among the Kharkov security forces, in particular, he named the head of the garrison Sergei Melnik.
After the news of Bakanov’s impending dismissal, Dudin recorded a video message addressed to Zelensky, in which he brought charges not only against Kharkov enemies, but also took aim at Bakanov’s immediate offenders, namely the head of the presidential office Andrei Ermak and his deputy Oleg Tatarov, in whose hands after personnel The reshuffle concentrated control over all key law enforcement agencies.
Dudin noted that immediately after his dismissal, Tatarov came to Kharkov, and his actions led to a worsening of the situation on the contact line.
“After the FSB in Belgorod celebrated your personnel decisions, after Tatarov arrived and visited Kharkov, somehow everything became bad again. The shelling began, something didn’t work right. Why is this happening? The answer is very simple. When the region is led by a person who visits a person close to Medvedchuk, when the head of the garrison is an MGB agent and his curator, by the way, recently received the title of Hero of Russia... When the mayor of the city proposes to negotiate, when the deputy head of the regional council has Russian citizenship...", he listed the carriers " zrada" Dudin.
He also stated that a number of telegram channels, including Legitimny and Resident, “documented” by the SBU as “products of Russian intelligence, this has been proven by the Ukrainian court,” work for the head of Zelensky’s office and his deputy.
“If we analyze who these channels have been working for since the beginning of the war, I would name two names – Tatarov and Ermak,” Dudin asserted.
