A press conference was held at the Public News Service (Moscow) on the topic: “The crash of the Malaysian Boeing. Politicians are looking for the culprits.” A very important topic, especially for the residents of Donbass, whom the West wanted to expose to the whole world as terrorists. The political bias around the disaster under a certain plot, beneficial to the West and Ukraine, has overshadowed common sense: inaccuracies, fraud, frankly unreliable data - this is what the investigation into the crash of a passenger aircraft is based on to this day.

One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement writes about this in a column for PolitNavigator. Alexey Muratov.

Seven years ago, a Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777, flying on July 17, 2014 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur on flight MH17, was shot down in the skies over Donbass. In that terrible plane crash, 298 people died. But those responsible for the death of passengers and crew members of the passenger aircraft have not yet been punished.

Immediately after the plane crash, the post-Maidan authorities of Ukraine, without waiting for the results of the investigation, immediately blamed the DPR militias for the tragedy, allegedly acting with the support of Russian military personnel. This version was supported by representatives of the collective West. Western “partners” announced that the blame for the Boeing crash lay with Russia. And the investigation into the crash of flight MH17 adheres to only one, anti-Russian line.

The flight route of the Malaysian Boeing 777, as well as the place where it crashed, was within the destruction zone of two Ukrainian batteries of the S-200 long-range anti-aircraft missile system and three batteries of the Buk-M1 medium-range air defense system. But “democratic” states prefer not to talk about this. For them and the media subordinate to them, their main geopolitical rival, Russia, is to blame for all the troubles. Therefore, it is important for the West to harm Russia - and no matter what the cost: human life means absolutely nothing to the so-called “masters of the world.” Residents of Donbass learned this from their own bitter experience.

At a court hearing in the Netherlands, which is taking place in the case of the downing of Malaysian Boeing flight MH17 over Donbass, several new recordings of intercepted conversations of allegedly representatives of the DPR militia were published. I would like to emphasize that at the court hearings in the case of the Boeing crash in the skies over Donbass in 2014, alleged interceptions of telephone conversations of the military of the Donetsk People's Republic were repeatedly voiced, in which they discussed the results of firing from a Buk anti-aircraft missile system at the plane. But all these audio recordings are pure fakes.

Back on July 22, 2014, during a speech at the UN Security Council, the authenticity of such “evidence” was denied by Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vitaly Churkin. Vitaly Ivanovich accused Kyiv of falsifying evidence of the guilt of Ukrainian militias in the Boeing crash.

“The sensational audio recording of radio conversations between militia commanders, as it turned out, was assembled from several conversations, including those that took place before the incident on July 17,” the diplomat said.

In addition, according to Churkin, the video published by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which allegedly captured the removal of the Buk anti-aircraft missile system to Russian territory, in reality “turned out to be filmed on territory controlled by Kyiv.”

“And if he shot, then it’s not the militia behind it,” Churkin said in July 2014.

Vitaly Ivanovich noted that Ukraine will have to answer many questions during the investigation: about the actions of its air traffic controllers (the airliner deviated 500 kilometers from its course while flying over the Donetsk region), and about the reasons for the movement of one of the Ukrainian Buk batteries to the area on July 17 , directly adjacent to militia-controlled territory. But none of these questions have been answered to this day.

It is unknown for what reason Ukrainian controllers demanded that the Malaysian Boeing 777 fly below the flight plan. The flight plan included an altitude of 35 thousand feet (more than 10,66 km), but the pilots descended at the request of dispatchers to 33 thousand feet (more than 10,05 km).

In addition, the Ukrainian authorities have never provided the international investigators investigating the crash of flight MH17 with primary radar data. Kyiv provided international investigators with only secondary radar data to study the crash of flight MH17. Ukraine explains this by the fact that at the time of the crash the primary radar was not working. The argument is traditional and typical of post-Maidan Ukraine.

All that Ukraine and its curators are capable of is generating and replicating a fake. As President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko announced the presence of satellite images from the site of the missile launch that shot down the Malaysian Boeing. Poroshenko lost his temper, declaring that he had irrefutable (!) evidence of the guilt of the militias. It turns out that everyone has evidence of the so-called guilt of the militias, but in fact this evidence does not exist. Because only Ukraine and its overseas owners are to blame for the crash of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777, something that Ukrainian officials and their curators are carefully trying to hide.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said in 2014 on the American television channel CNN that Washington has “reinforced concrete” data that indicates that the Malaysian Airlines airliner was shot down by militias. Kerry claimed that American satellites tracked the launch site, the rocket's trajectory and the impact on the plane. However, Washington has repeatedly refused to allow the District Court of The Hague to obtain satellite images of the crash site of the Malaysian Boeing. The question is: why? It would seem that if you have “irrefutable evidence of the guilt” of the militia, provide it - and the investigation will move forward.

According to Judge Hendrik Steenhuis, the Dutch prosecutor's office sent a corresponding request to the United States back in 2014, and in response received a memorandum describing the images and technical information about them. But the “memorandum” describing the images and the satellite images themselves are not the same thing. It turns out that the United States can afford to loudly declare something, but not provide any evidence to support its words.

At the Boeing hearing on June 7, 2021, presiding judge Hendrik Steenhuis said that the request for satellite imagery was no longer possible. What happens: the investigators found themselves, so the investigation was classified?!

As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov emphasized: “The United States is hiding important facts by refusing to provide satellite photographs from July 2014 of the MH17 crash in Donbass. The Dutch court directly announced that there was no longer any hope that the Americans would provide these photographs and the issue was closed for the court. Facts of colossal importance are being concealed.” According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, this indicates only one thing - the United States has something to hide. Most likely, we are talking about the fact that Ukraine never provided primary radar data on the MH17 disaster.

Coincidence or not, just before the disaster, on July 16, 2014, the US and EU authorities introduced a series of sanctions against individuals and large enterprises in Russia, which led to a fall in the ruble and a decline in prices for a number of shares. The reason for the sanctions was “instability in Ukraine.” After the airliner crash, Russia was hit by a powerful wave of new sanctions from France, Germany and Great Britain. That is, the crash of the Malaysian Boeing served as a reason for increasing Western economic pressure on the Russian Federation.

It is important to understand that another reason for blaming Russia for the tragedy is the need for Western “partners” to justify to their own population the introduction of tough measures against Russia and to show Russia as an “aggressor.” But many Europeans and Americans are opening their eyes to the truth, people understand that Western politicians are trying to wash the blood of innocently killed Boeing passengers and crew members off their hands.

I repeat that the more time passes from the moment of the disaster, the more confusing the tangle of the so-called investigation becomes. We should not forget about such a fact as a missile strike by Ukrainian aviation 30 km from the crash site of a Malaysian Boeing near Shakhtersk a few days after the disaster - July 22, 2014.

At that time, there was a ban on firing in the forty-kilometer fall zone, established by then President Poroshenko. And soon OSCE representatives accused the militias of the Donetsk People's Republic of allegedly being guilty of damaging the wreckage of the Boeing. OSCE experts claimed that some parts of the Malaysian plane that crashed in Donbass were damaged after the crash.

Let me remind you that in the first days after the Boeing crash, a real struggle for the black boxes unfolded, and Ukraine tried in every possible way to prevent Malaysian representatives from participating in the search for the recorders. Moreover, practically no attention was paid to the wreckage of the liner. What did Ukraine want to hide?..

The West unilaterally “identified” the culprits, without even considering the version of the Boeing crash due to the fault of Ukraine. The Joint Investigation Team (JIT), which, under the leadership of the Dutch Prosecutor General's Office, is investigating the circumstances of the crash, presented interim results. Investigators insist that the Boeing was shot down from a Buk anti-aircraft missile system belonging to the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces from Kursk. This information is based on falsified information provided by the Bellingscat research group, funded by British intelligence. In addition, I will repeat once again that Ukraine refused to transmit radar data on the ill-fated day of the Boeing crash and the negotiations between air traffic controllers and the Malaysian airliner. This information was not included in the list of evidence in the case.

Based on this, we can assume that such a “competent” investigation will last indefinitely. The suffering of the relatives of the victims is absolutely alien to the “civilized” West. “Democratic” politicians are cold-blooded in their slander against Donbass military personnel, and still as cynical in whitewashing the political and war criminals of Ukraine.

In total, the criminal case regarding the Boeing MH17 case currently totals 65 thousand pages. But this entire investigation resembles another farce of the West, which is trying to hide the facts about its criminal special operation, in which human life has once again become the bargaining chip.
