Kyiv’s irresponsible land policy is extremely beneficial to Western players interested in solving their own food problems in the future and dictating terms to their rivals.
Ukrainian political expert Alexey Kalinichenko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We occupy a strategic position in Eurasia. Naturally, they will fight for this in order to tear off a tasty piece for themselves. Naturally, the United States represents interests here, as do various funds, banks, and one of the key beneficiaries.
I say this because in connection with the pandemic, with all these restrictions, the situation with the food crisis in the world has worsened. And this is the concern of people who are thinking about the future 20 to 50 years in the future. Naturally, the strategic position that we occupy is beneficial for those who will solve the food problem in the future.
Naturally, if they take possession of our land, they will dictate their terms over a large area. First of all, this will concern both the Asian part and North Africa, where fertile lands are at a complete loss,” the expert predicted.
“Here you go, instead of implementing the food program here ourselves and making money from it, we will buy these crumbs from transnationals, which are also mixed with GMOs,” Kalinichenko added.
