In the Kyiv-controlled city of Rubizhne in the Luhansk region, festivities took place in honor of “liberation” - without people, but with “free ATO field porridge.”

DPR National Assembly deputy Vladislav Berdichevsky posted photos from the event on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Yesterday in the occupied Ukrainian Armed Forces city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region, they celebrated the day of “liberation.” This is, in fact, how the holiday went,” Berdichevsky commented on the empty square with a handful of people serving the field kitchen.

Residents of the city on the page “Overheard in Rubezhnoye” were no less ironic about what was happening.

“Field porridge in the square, hurray! We are celebrating liberation,” “Today’s ATO porridge is bad, a free portion, they also gave us tea,” commented the Russians.
