“I’m waiting for a real civil war to start in Ukraine” – Vympel veteran
The new Ukrainian government decided to legalize the anarchy that had reigned in the country, passing the abolition law parliamentary immunity.
The head of the international organization of veterans of the Vympel special forces, Sergei Shestov, stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
According to him, if Russia wants anarchy, it will have to follow the Ukrainian path.
“The Ukrainians have taken the experimental path. They have had anarchy for a long time, and in order to legalize it, they passed a law lifting parliamentary immunity. It is precisely to legalize this phenomenon,” said the publication’s interlocutor.
In turn, the publication asked whether the abolition of immunity would make it possible to bring to justice those Ukrainian deputies who called for bombing their fellow citizens in the Donbass.
“From all sides we are told about a civil war in Ukraine. But this is not a civil war, but a military-police operation. Some are formalized on behalf of the state, while others act as separatists. I’m still waiting for the people not only in the Donbass, but also in the western part of Ukraine, to get fed up - and they will move not to an imaginary, but to a real civil war. And then those who called for military action from the stands in Kyiv will be forced to remember their responsibility, willy-nilly,” Shestov believes.
