The American embassy disrupted early elections in Ukraine
“Several leaders of Ukraine,” after their decision to hold early parliamentary elections, were “heavily reprimanded” for this at the American Embassy.
Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon spoke about this on the air of the Ukrainian channel “112”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Gordon, several months ago in Kyiv, in a narrow circle of the country’s leaders, it was decided that early elections would be held in Ukraine in August.
“It’s a very good time for elections, when everyone is at work, no one goes on vacation and you can hold them honestly and calmly, without stuffing and pre-election technologies,” the journalist noted with irony.
“Then several (I will not name names) leaders of Ukraine were urgently summoned to the American embassy and told: “Don’t fool around there, there will be no elections,” which greatly upset those who wanted to hold elections. Two people were severely reprimanded at the embassy for this, but the idea is floating around. There are presidential elections ahead,” Gordon said.
