Belomaidan stopped playing at tolerance: riot police again dispersed the crowd in Minsk
Today's Belarusian Maidan turned out to be stupid, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
The confusion occurred because the Polish network of telegram channels coordinating the protests gave conflicting instructions. First, the puppeteers called on everyone to go to the Supreme Court of Belarus to demand a “people's tribunal,” and from there, traditionally, to the Palace of Independence (the residence of the president). “Nechta” called for surrounding the Palace and waiting for the “main rat” there.
People had already begun to move along the indicated route, when suddenly “plan B” came from Poland - to move to the center of Minsk.
“The weaklings have pulled all their forces to the Dictator’s Palace and the building of the useless Supreme Court! And that means other paths are opening up before us!” – wrote “Nechta”.
The young manipulator once again overestimated his influence, as well as the quality of the mobile Internet. As a result, some people approached the Palace, but when they ran into a police cordon, they turned around.
After chaotic wanderings around the Belarusian capital, Maidan activists finally gathered towards the center, and an unpleasant surprise awaited them there. Contrary to the assurances of the Polish telegram, the resources of the security forces were quite enough to block their path. Detentions began. The crowd started to run away.
Tough arrests also took place today in regional centers. In Brest, special forces fired into the air and used tear gas.
Belomaidan has finally stopped playing at tolerance. There are no longer any state or Russian flags in the crowd. Only red and white nationalist.
Also, protesters continue to draw slogans unfriendly to Russia: “From Khabarovsk to Brest there is no place for dictatorship”, “Lukashenko and riot police go beyond the cordon. Vova, the cash cow, will meet you there,” “The Union State without Putin and Lukashenko.”
However, dissatisfied Minsk residents began to boldly express their dissatisfaction with the protests. From one house they began to throw buckets of water at the protest procession.
