Russia must give the West an even tougher rebuff than during the attack in Syria and act proactively. LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky wrote about this in his telegram channel.
“For example, if there are new threats of shelling, bring the ships of the Baltic Fleet to the shores of Great Britain. Do not violate the borders, do not shoot, but just let them down, creating a semicircle around the islands. This would have a powerful psychological effect, and one would immediately no longer want to aggravate the situation and play with the Russians,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
The politician believes that one should not limit oneself only to psychological pressure.
“If they do decide to strike, then it is necessary not only to shoot down all the missiles, but also to launch retaliatory strikes on the ships and planes that fired them. This will not be aggression, but defense, but in such a way that it will be discouraging.
The Americans, and especially the Europeans, have not waged any serious wars for many decades, they have grown fat and do not want to part with their usual way of life, therefore, having realized where their actions are leading, they will immediately retreat,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
