Duda promised not to take Lviv from Ukraine
Polish President Andrzej Duda said Warsaw is not considering the possibility of returning Lviv and other lost eastern territories.
Duda said this during a telephone prank by prankster Alexey “Lexus” Stolyarov, who called the Polish president under the guise of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to congratulate him on his re-election for a new term.
In response to the false Guterres' remark about the successful war against Soviet monuments in Poland, Duda accused Moscow of occupying Polish lands during World War II. However, he rejected the proposal to take the lost eastern territories from Ukraine.
“In Poland there is not even such talk. Now it is part of Ukraine. And that is all. There are simply no such political discussions in Poland! We don't talk about this at all! There are no political forces in Poland with such proposals,” Duda assured several times.
At the same time, he admitted that the situation with coronavirus is difficult in neighboring Ukraine, and this is one of the sources of the spread of infection to Poland.
