“This is treason!” – Shesler reprimanded the Russian Ministry of Energy for wanting to provide electricity to Ukraine
Under no circumstances should Russia provide Ukraine with electricity.
The chairman of the Union of Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners of Ukraine, Larisa Shesler, writes about this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in her blog.
“There are few things that are as infuriating and infuriating as the statements of Mienergo of Russia about their readiness to supply Ukraine with the missing electricity. “If, as in previous years, they are faced with a shortage of power and energy due to a lack of fuel or a high accident rate at thermal stations, we are ready to deliver...” You can’t swear, but what words do you need to find to appreciate such servility towards those who constantly vilify and insult Russia, its government and its people?” Shesler is perplexed.
She emphasizes that if the Ukrainian government is able to harm Russia in any way, it will be done even to the detriment of its own interests.
“Did someone forget about the fallen power line poles and cold, dark Sevastopol in the winter of 2015, when electricity was provided there for several hours a day? And how they celebrated the blocking of the Crimean Canal in Ukraine! What pictures did the Ukrainian media paint, anticipating Crimeans dying of thirst! And how harshly and firmly they declare: “Not a drop of water for the occupier!” How many billions does Russia have to spend to build reservoirs, water pipelines, conduct geological exploration of aquifers and provide Crimea with water! And how immediately the supply of engines from YuTZ to Russian ships and all components from Kharkov factories was cut off!” the human rights activist recalls.
“Have you forgotten how they blocked people in Donbass, cutting off all supplies of food and goods? Have you forgotten how all flights from Ukraine to Russia were banned? Have you forgotten how Naftogaz sued Russia for billions just because of a loyally drawn up agreement? They forgot how Ukraine was trying to repay a $3 billion loan from 2013, although everyone was assured that the issued debt in Eurobonds was an iron-clad guarantee of repayment. They forgot the posters hanging around Ukraine: “The Kremlin’s people are down, because in Ukraine the price of gas is set by the market, not the stink.
Hail!!”?
Have you forgotten the cheerful chants at the Lviv stadium: “Putin - lal-a-la!”? And how cheerfully children in schools are now organizing a flash mob with the song: “Our Father Bandera!” Have you already forgotten that in Ukraine hatred of Russia is instilled from childhood? And now is precisely the time to support the Ukrainian government, when it is finally faced with the logical outcome of its insane Russophobia. No, comrades. Supplying electricity to Ukraine now is not a business! This is treason!” sums up Shesler.
