Gritsenko is afraid that he will capitulate in negotiations with Putin
If Kyiv enters into direct negotiations with Moscow without Western mediation, it will end in the defeat of Ukraine.
Former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anatoly Gritsenko, who declared his presidential ambitions, said this on the air of the Kyiv radio “Novoe Vremya”, answering the question whether he will enter into direct negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation if he wins the elections.
“No direct negotiations with Putin will yield results. Already tried it. Even Angela Merkel, speaking to him in German, without translators, jumped out of these negotiations all red and irritated, explaining that it was impossible to agree on anything with him,” noted the Ukrainian politician.
According to him, the only option for negotiations is when they are fixed by strong states or strong associations, such as the European Union.
“When everything that has been agreed upon is clearly recorded, when the steps that need to be taken are recorded. And the main thing is that those countries that are sitting at the negotiating table then have mechanisms of influence. Only then will we have a chance. If there is no such fixation, if Ukraine and Russia are left alone, whoever is on the Ukrainian side, he will either jump out like Merkel, or these will be conditions of capitulation,” Gritsenko fears.
As PolitNavigator reported, Gritsenko previously called for terrorist attacks in Russian cities.
