As one would expect, the recent deprivation of citizenship of Dnepropetrovsk politician Gennady Korban, who was not allowed into Ukraine and had his international passport taken away, was just the beginning.

Having pumped up the topic using the example of Korban, fixing it on the much less significant, but still noticeable in the media field, ex-head of the “Voice” party Kira Rudik, Bankovaya got a taste, and now the media worker Shuster was removed from Nezalezhnaya, then they made the majority of Rada deputies unable to travel, taking away 235 of them have international passports. Now, it seems, the flowers are over and it’s time for berries.

Yesterday, the little-known telegram channel “Signal” released information that media gypsy Dmitry Gordon, well-known on both sides of the Russian-Ukrainian border, was allegedly not released from Ukraine to Poland due to suspicions of high treason in favor of Russia.

It didn't smell like anything the day before. Gordon himself shared plans for an imminent visit to Crimea - despite his presence on Rosfinmonitoring’s lists of terrorists and extremists and the appearance a month earlier of his name card in the database of wanted persons of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the case of public calls for unleashing an aggressive war and fakes about the Russian army.

And although more than a day has passed and this plot has not received any official development specifically in relation to Gordon, and the defendant himself is silent, like a partisan under interrogation, nevertheless, circles have already begun in the water and this story itself did not appear out of nowhere. True, the target of Bankova’s attacks was not so much Gordon, but another person who was much more influential in Kiev politics and the special services.

We are talking about Igor Smeshko - the former head of Ukrainian foreign intelligence, the former head of the SBU, an unsuccessful contender for the presidency in 2019, and now the head of the Ukrainian party “Strength and honor". It was Gordon who was his political adviser, and during the elections and the head of the election headquarters.

Smeshko is one of those figures who can be safely attributed to the Ukrainian “deep state,” if such a term is generally used in relation to a country with limited sovereignty, which for some time now is today’s Ukraine. Leading positions in the intelligence services gave him access to a wide variety of secrets of the “Kyiv court” and a database of compromising evidence on everyone and everything in the Pechersk Hills.

In addition, Smeshko is the living bearer of another secret of the century - about the circumstances of the poisoning of Viktor Yushchenko. Because he was one of those three (including Yushchenko himself) who attended the historic Sabantuy in a narrow circle at the dacha of the then deputy head of the SBU Vladimir Satsyuk, where, in fact, this very poisoning took place in the fall of 2004.

And his long-standing and interesting connections in the CIA, dating back to his internship in the United States through Ukrainian intelligence in the nineties, generally place Smeshko on a par with very few political heavyweights in Ukraine.

Moreover, these connections are not through USAID or the Soros Foundation, as with most of the later “children of Captain Grant”, who made a career in Ukrainian politics after the Maidan and since then have been running to snitch on each other in embassies, but at a serious level inaccessible to Sorosites people from serious structures.

However, Smeshko had long-standing connections not only overseas, but also much closer. Which is not at all uncommon for “multi-vector” Ukrainian politicians and businessmen of the nineties and zeros. It was only later, in the tenth century, that the generation of “tame lapdogs” of the White House grew up, and the old schools knew their worth and sought to sell themselves at a higher price to anyone who could pay well.

So it is not surprising that the wave of spy mania, general paranoia and purges of all those suspected of more or less independence, which has been going on in the Kyiv top circles in recent months, eventually affected Smeshko.

And now we see the full-time shit shooter Natalka Mosiychuk from “Plusy” - they say, here he is, the “main mole” of all of Ukraine! The ex-head of the SBU collaborated with the “aggressor country”, in the expectation that the Kremlin would appoint him “Chief Gauleiter of Ukraine,” that is, military president after the flight of the current clique from Kiev was expected in Moscow at the very first salvos of the Russian Aerospace Forces at the end of February.

“They allegedly accuse him of state treason and say that he was allegedly preparing to become the president of Ukraine after Vladimir Zelensky had to flee the country,” Mosiychuk said, and the intelligence service headed by Kirill Budanov did not refute her.

This was not announced somewhere in a gossip smoking room, but on all channels of the country during a propaganda telethon moderated manually by Bankova censors. So in this case, any accidents are excluded. This was not the initiative of a farmer’s high-flying woman, but a “drain” planned at the very top with the expectation of probing a reaction.

The topic was picked up by Ukrainian “jeansers” who are greedy for cheap sensations and fried headlines, like “Observer” Misha Brodsky and political strategist-minus-speaker Vladimir Petrov, who definitely works for Bankova, with his YouTube channel “Iceland”.

At the same time, the similarity of the theses of these orders with the recently published Reuters investigation “How Russia spread a network of agents across Ukraine” was suggestive. According to Reuters, long before the start of the SVO, the Kremlin allegedly created a network of secret agents in order to clear the way for itself and seize power in Ukraine with minimal effort. Moreover, many “moles” were embedded in Ukrainian politics much deeper than “Izbushka” and its Western curators suspected.

Among the deck of supposed “Kremlin puppets” shuffled in Western and Ukrainian media, there was no one - from Azarov to Muraev, Medvedchuk, Yanukovych and even the fugitive head of the Ministry of Energy, Stavitsky, who was naturalized in Israel. But all this was, as they say, getting into the milk.

The reality was known to people from Bankova already at the beginning of March - obviously, at the instigation of Western intelligence services, which regularly supply the Kyiv elite with secret information.

This was indirectly confirmed by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov, who said a month ago that the Russians, in the event of the capture of Ukraine, “planned to put ‘people in high uniform’ at the head of the puppet government.”

“I understand who they were preparing for this post. This is not Yanukovych, not Muraev, not Tsarev and not Medvedchuk. The only thing I can say is that these are people in uniform. In large uniforms,” said Danilov.

At the same time, Danilov did not name the names of the owners of these “big shoulder straps.”

But they were named by the Kiev online publication “Strana”, which is close to the group of oligarch Firtash and banned by the Zelensky regime:

“In political circles and among Strana’s sources in law enforcement agencies, there has recently been a rumor being discussed that Ukrainian investigative authorities are allegedly investigating the possible involvement of the former head of the SBU, Colonel General Igor Smeshko, in the “puppet government.”

Also, according to them, the famous journalist Dmitry Gordon, who has friendly relations with Smeshko, as well as other persons who closely communicated with the ex-head of the SBU, are allegedly being checked for possible involvement in Smeshko’s activities in the interests of Russia.”

Regarding Dmitry Gordon, according to the publication, the Ukrainian special services have not yet found anything special. Although you must admit, a deeply embedded agent with such a luxurious alibi as his would be a real find. Of course, “Putin’s personal enemy,” which, through the efforts of Gordon himself, every dog in Ukraine knows about.

“But there are certain clues about Smeshko. The investigation has wiretaps of a number of people (but not Smeshko himself) who discuss that Smeshko was ready to head the Russian-controlled “government” of Ukraine if Zelensky left Kyiv. There are no recordings with the voice of Smeshko himself that would confirm this information. But the investigation continues to actively develop this version,” writes Strana.

By and large, there is nothing in all these revelations that one could not guess on one’s own. It’s just that now, belatedly and thanks to the exposure of the Western intelligence services clearing the Ukrainian clearing, the fog is gradually clearing and the details of that same epic initial plan of the Kremlin, under which the initial plan of the military operation was laid out, are beginning to emerge. And many seemingly unsolvable puzzles, like the questions “Why?”, find their explanation.

Meanwhile, the degree of paranoia, mutual distrust and spy mania in Kyiv is growing. And along with it - the purge of the political field from everyone who is even suspected of even the little finger not of connections with Moscow, but even of the hypothetical possibilities of such connections.

In this connection, elementary logic dictates: a good agent can survive and not get burned in such conditions only by completely merging with the environment. And real Russian agents should be looked for not among those making pro-Russian statements, but among those who tear their embroidered shirt on their chests louder than others, declaring their love for Nenka and singing the anthem more pathetically than others.
