The current wave of the financial crisis in Ukraine and the lack of money in the State Treasury is a consequence of the fact that Ukrainian migrant workers traveling abroad have stopped sending money home in the same volumes.

Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on TV channel 112, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the expert, transfers from abroad are one of the means of managing the Ukrainian economy.

“For now, the most effective means of managing the economy is to stimulate the outflow of workers abroad, who then send money here. Recently, more and more people are leaving, and there are fewer and fewer transfers. This means that they stay there, many people, and families are transported there. More people leave, but fewer are sent back here. This is where the deadlock in economic policy comes from,” Karasev said.
