Klimkin assures that he understood Russia’s logic
At a meeting of the foreign ministers of Poland and Ukraine, Russia's actions and the possibility of introducing new sanctions against it were discussed.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin announced this at a press conference after the meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Russia there is not only no human politics, but also no human morality. We cannot get any official information about our guys and get it from unofficial sources. Well, by the way, transporting the wounded on an airplane is generally against any rules of any reasonable human morality. Now all our efforts are concentrated on creating a wave of international pressure in order to free the guys, free the ship,” Klimkin said.
He also added that Russia “must not escape punishment for its new acts of aggression.”
“They talked about the need for new sanctions. I am very grateful to Jacek for consistently supporting this. We also talked about the fact that the logic of Russia’s actions is to influence the Ukrainian Donbass, Mariupol, Berdyansk, try to create problems for economic activity, and wage a hybrid and commercial war. We understand perfectly well what this is aimed at. The German Chancellor said this clearly. All our European friends understand this very well,” says Klimkin.
