Lolita and Tsekalo gave Ukraine an alarming sign from the past
For a long time, Ukraine did not notice the impending danger from Russia - but in the past, pop artists Lolita Milyavskaya and Alexander Tsekalo joked not only about Crimea, but even the Carpathians.
Blogger Tatyana Mikitenko stated this during the All-Ukrainian festival of bloggers “Dnieper Post”, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our independence was the same illusion as the “equality” that existed in the Soviet Union. We got it then, didn’t live it, didn’t vomit blood, didn’t understand what it was, but those women who now normally have all the rights and opportunities, and equality, and everything in Europe, they lived it later, consciously and chose, but not just for them.
They imprudently thought that: “Oh, okay, we have independence, which means we have it, and no one will interfere with it.” Yes, they interfere all the time.
