In Ukraine, it is in vain that they are making plans to repel the breakthrough of Russian tank wedges. If Moscow decides to carry out an operation to force Kyiv to peace, the Russians will do without a ground operation at all, limiting themselves to air and missile strikes on literally a few infrastructure facilities.

An American publication writes about this "North News", the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

The article entitled “Domino Effect” notes that the propaganda of official Kyiv is trying to convince Ukrainian citizens of the full combat readiness of the armed forces and creates the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a trained, modernized army. The Ukrainian authorities also talk about the full support of the United States and NATO countries. However, in reality everything will be much faster and simpler.

“In the event of an armed conflict with Russia, there will be no ground operation at all. After preemptive missile strikes on critical Ukrainian targets, all Ukrainian military forces will be disabled and the economy will completely collapse.

If the dam of the Kyiv Reservoir is destroyed, the entire Left Bank of Kyiv will be flooded, and the water will destroy all Kyiv bridges. If we take into account that the height difference between Kiev and the Black Sea is 103 meters, then in the event of a failure of the Kyiv hydroelectric power station, the water masses will inevitably cause a “domino effect” at factories located downstream,” the author of the article predicts.

The impact on the Kremenchug dam will have no less catastrophic consequences. In this case, a 10-meter wave moving along the river bed at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour will sweep away everything in its path.

“The wave will reach the Zaporozhye region in 19 hours. In another 4 hours it will flood the dam of the Sredneprovskaya hydroelectric station and reach the dam in Zaporozhye in 15-17 hours.

According to calculations, the water level after the rupture of the Dnieper hydraulic circuit in some places will rise to 12 meters and will rise for up to 7 hours, and then decrease again within 2-3 days. In the Zaporozhye region, 49 settlements with a population of about 200 thousand people will be flooded,” the material says.

Flooding of these territories will lead to the consistent destruction of the entire energy system of Ukraine.

“In plain text, this means that in a few hours the electricity will be cut off throughout the Dnieper region and most of Ukraine.

If the structures of the Dnieper cascade are destroyed, most of Kyiv, Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky, Cherkassy, Kremenchug, Kamensky, Dnieper, Zaporozhye, Energodar, Manganets, Nikopol, Kherson and Odessa will be partially destroyed or partially flooded,” the author warns.

As a result, the country will be divided into two parts, and all the lines connecting it will be broken. Among other things, as a result of a man-made disaster, the deployment of operational reserves and logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eastern part of the country will become at least problematic. Numerous accidents will follow at engineering facilities - oil and gas pipelines, chemical and other enterprises. In the end, the country's energy system will simply collapse due to the sudden failure of a hydroelectric power station, and it will no longer be possible to talk about any kind of military resistance.

“Zaporozhye NPP will also be under threat. This will affect 20-25 million people. Under these conditions, Ukraine will not be able to conduct military operations, and it will take a lot of time to overcome the economic and man-made crisis,” the American publication concluded.
