Despite the war, the birth rate has increased in the DPR
Over the past three years, despite the war and the associated outflow of population, the birth rate in the DPR has increased significantly. Donetsk ecologist Andrei Safonov stated this on the air of the talk show “Politkuhnya”.

“There are certain indicators of population health. In our republic, for example, the birth rate should be taken into account, and it is now much higher than in 14. The birth rate began to increase. Both in terms of the birth rate and the number of people over 80 years of age, the territory of the Donetsk region has never been lower than any other region of Ukraine,” Safonov emphasized.
