About it Moscow journalist and columnist Maxim Kononenko reported on his social network page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“No, it’s not a good morning for you and me. Anton Borisovich Nosik died. The man who taught me almost everything I know now. The person who first paid me money for the text I wrote. The man who created the Russian Internet in the form in which it exists now. this is kind of fucked up, honestly…” he wrote.

Information about Nosik’s death was confirmed by the owner of Vedomosti Demyan Kudryavtsev on his Facebook and blogger Ilya Varlamov.

The patriotic camp also responded to Nosik’s death. In particular,
Russian publicist of Jewish origin Israel Shamir noted on his page on the social network:

“Anton Nosik died. Despite ideological differences, I could never really get angry at him. He was a very pleasant person in everyday communication, affable and friendly. He was looking for himself - he tried to become a Jew (he was not a Jew by birth), even called himself a Georgian, dissident, abused drugs and alcohol, and was an elegant dandy. Personally, I liked him, we saw each other in Moscow and Goa, but we were not close. Peace be upon his ashes, and peace and rest to his soul.”

The cause of death was reported to be a cardiovascular attack.

Anton Nosik is a popular Russian blogger. His LiveJournal took 10th place in Runet according to Yandex. He was the editor of the largest online news publications Vesti.ru, Lenta.ru, Gazeta.ru and NEWSru.com. One of the former managers of the Rambler holding and the blog service of the SUP company (participated in this capacity in the improvements to the LiveJournal service). Until March 2011, he served as editor-in-chief of the Bfm.ru website. Since mid-October 2009, he took the position of deputy general director of the United Media company and, concurrently, the position of chief editor of Bfm.ru. From November 16, 2011 to November 29, 2012, Anton Nosik was the media director of SUP Media, which owns the LiveJournal service.

The nose led to LiveJournal popular magazine under the nickname dolboeb. He became famous for his sharp, politically incorrect tonality of judgments on current issues of socio-political life. Because of this, he had problems with Russian justice. In particular, because of his scandalous statements on the issue of Syria. Recently, he has sharply cooled off towards the post-Maidan Ukraine he previously liked due to the propaganda of Ukrainian collaborationism during the Second World War. In particular, it made a lot of noise a series of posts by Nosik condemning the propaganda in Ukraine of the SS division “Galicia”, because of which the blogger fell out of favor with Ukrainian nationalists.

Anton Nosik lived and worked permanently in Goa for a long time, then moved to California. Died in Moscow.
