Russian political scientist: Poor people and scumbags go to Turkey to rest
Russian citizens should refuse to holiday in Turkey after Ankara’s unfriendly actions. Russian political scientist Oleg Matveychev thinks so.
“Not only are they beggars, but also scum who take money to people who kill our pilots and ambassadors. It’s good that there is instant karma - the Turks spit in their salads, piss in their coffee and whiskey. After all, everything is included. And they drink it. And rightly so,” Matveychev wrote on his blog.
As PolitNavigator reported, in 2020, ten times fewer Russian tourists visited Turkey than in previous years. In the “high season” - even less. However, this happened due to closed borders due to the coronavirus epidemic, and not at all for political reasons of Russian citizens.
Russian tourists took second place after Germany in visiting Turkey. As of September, 770 thousand tourists from the Russian Federation managed to visit this country, and 780 thousand Germans.
