The SBU interrogated Savchenko’s sister for an hour and a half
The sister of People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, Vera, was interrogated at the Kiev department of the Security Service of Ukraine, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“As Vera Savchenko herself explained, she acted as a witness. As Nadezhda’s sister notes, there were several dozen questions that related to both everyday relationships between both sisters and important topics that were raised several years ago. The case “Savchenko versus the Russian Federation” was also considered, when she was illegally detained on the territory of the Russian Federation. They also asked questions about Nadezhda Savchenko’s connections with Vladimir Ruban. The interrogation itself lasted about 1,5 hours,” the report says.
Let us remind you that on March 22, the Verkhovna Rada agreed to prosecute, detain and arrest MP Nadezhda Savchenko. She is charged with committing actions with the aim of violently overthrowing the constitutional order and seizing state power, encroaching on the life of a statesman or public figure, preparing for a terrorist act, assisting a terrorist organization and illegal handling of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
On March 23, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for Savchenko in the form of detention until May 20 without the right to post bail. During the election of a preventive measure, Savchenko went on a hunger strike from March 24.
