Senile insanity: Zhirinovsky calls Kiselyov back to Russia
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that the NTV channel needs to hire presenter Yevgeny Kiselyov, who went to Ukraine and serves the ruling nationalist regime on Petro Poroshenko’s channel “Direct”.
This is stated in Zhirinovsky’s congratulations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of NTV, which is celebrated this year, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to wish the channel’s team a successful renovation in its editorial office, because in the 1990s it was really new, fresh television, and no one else was filming or showing it then, but, alas, many great journalists left the channel, and now it lost something important that is no longer present in the current NTV.
My proposal: return to the channel Evgeny Kiselyov, who was one of his inspirers, Svetlana Sorokina, Leonid Parfenov, Pavel Lobkov and other journalists who “burned” NTV in the 1990s. Today, they are all more experienced, they have taken into account the mistakes of their youth and, it seems to me, they could make the channel as bright and sharp as in the beginning, but at the same time not attract negative attention to themselves,” Zhirinovsky wrote on his Telegram channel.
