“Strategically, Ukraine has already been betrayed by the West”
In Ukraine, the West was accused of betrayal and refusal of real financial and military assistance.
Ukrainian nationalist, ex-combatant of the so-called “ATO” Dmitry Korchinsky stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the nationalist, Ukraine's only real allies are terrorist and extremist groups, but at the same time the government must beg for money from the West.
“To a large extent, the position of alliances and Western states led to our loss. At one time, for example, they managed to saturate Poland with weapons and money; Poland was able to counter the Bolshevik threat due to the fact that it was simply overwhelmed with Western money and weapons. Ukraine - no, they didn’t give it to Ukrainians. We are in a situation where we are constantly being betrayed by the West. And this must be remembered - the West is betraying and one cannot place great hopes on the West,” says Korchinsky.
According to him, the Ukrainian leadership must continue to flirt with the West and “beg for everything possible” and try to gain support for anti-Russian sanctions.
“But this is a tactic - strategically they have already betrayed us. We must remember that our real allies are the informal forces in the world. Some North Caucasian Islamists, that kind of public,” said the radical.
