Ukraine boasted a new rocket: the Poles used Kyiv as a "Negro"
In Ukraine, for the first time, a photo of the missile of the new light anti-tank complex “Pirate” was shown. This is a joint development of the Ukrainian state design bureau “Luch” with the Polish company Mesko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The maximum firing range in the infantry version of the Pirate is 2,5 km. The mass of the installation with the rocket is 15 kg.
In the ATO “Veteran Brotherhood” militant community, they emphasized that the peculiarity of the Ukrainian-Polish missile is laser guidance at the target, the light weight of the ATGM and its mobility. The militants rejoice at the new product and demand even more weapons: “We need even more equipment to kill our enemies.”
A photo of the installation was published on his blog by Kiev military expert Sergei Zgurets. True, commentators noticed that there is no logo of the Ukrainian design bureau in the picture, from which we can conclude - the Poles used Kyiv as a “missile black”. After all, the new ATGM practically repeats the characteristics of the Ukrainian Corsair, previously developed at the same State Design Bureau Luch and sold for export.
Earlier, an expert at the Institute of CIS Countries, Captain XNUMXst Rank Sergei Gorbachev, in a commentary to PolitNavigator, stated that the Neptune missile, widely praised by Ukrainian propaganda, easily detected and knocked down Russian air defense systems.
