Vice-Parubiy threw a public hysteria: Mogherini sent huntars
Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko publicly expressed irritation at the statement of the head of the EU Foreign Policy Commission Federica Mogherini, who called for restraint on the parties to the conflict around the Kerch Strait.
“Federica Mogherini calls on both sides to show restraint. And I urge Federica Mogherini to stop deceiving herself and make an honest statement. There are no two sides. There is Russian aggression against Ukraine. During her entire tenure in the high position of the EC High Representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini visited Ukraine only a few times and never found time to visit Donbass.
In Kyiv, we held endless and so pleasant meetings with activists, and refused to meet with the families of the hostages or visit the military hospital, despite all our efforts. She preferred to hear from activists about “bad Ukrainian government and corruption,” but not to hear from our military and freed hostages that the key threat to the physical survival of Ukraine is the military aggression of the Russian Federation,” Gerashchenko laments in her blog.
“I’m tired of these half-truths, half-tones, half-scares, deep and wide worries. Europeans, there are no two sides. There is an aggressor. There is a victim. You don't really want to fight. OK. Then dare to at least call a spade a spade,” the high-ranking Ukrainian official urges.
