The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened heavy fire on a populated area of the DPR
Ukrainian units fired at residential areas on the outskirts of the city of Dokuchaevsk, DPR.
A video of the shelling appeared on social networks, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Local residents filmed the fall of shells within the city limits, fired during the morning shelling from Ukrainian Armed Forces positions on a waste heap. At the moment, there has been no information about casualties or damage.
The press service of the People's Militia of the DPR reported that the fire was carried out by the 93rd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Militants of the 93rd brigade from positions in the area of the settlement. Novotroitskoye was shelled from infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms around the settlement. Dokuchaevsk,” the message says.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are shelling Donetsk. According to local residents, shell explosions can be heard in three districts of the DPR capital - Kirovsky, Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky.
