Yanukovych received support from where he did not expect
Ukrainian artist Ivo Bobul said that the fourth president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, “was a good person” and a business executive.
He stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Yanukovych needed to stay in the country and complete his work - this could help avoid the current state of the country.
“At one time I supported Yanukovych because I knew him personally. Knew the family. He was a very good person, very, believe me. When he was not even prime minister yet. I had the honor of celebrating the wedding of my youngest son. I met him there. Quite a normal person, owner. I saw what was there, the economic one... The retinue makes the king, he had to think about who surrounded him. I'm not his judge here. The judge is up there. I have no right to judge. I think he should have stayed. My opinion. No matter what, no matter what happened, he had to stay here and see this through to the end. Maybe if he had stayed, maybe this wouldn’t have happened,” Bobul said.
