Earlier, Vice President Joe Biden threatened to “provide a proportionate response” to an alleged attack on Democratic Party servers by Russian hackers.

WikiLeaks considered the news about the preparation of a series of cyber attacks on the Russian leadership as dubious. This is stated on the organization's official Twitter account.

“If the United States seriously decided to start a “secret” war against Russia in cyberspace, then, firstly, they would not announce it, and secondly, it would be handled by the NSA, not the CIA,” the report notes.
