Chiygoz: the Majlis will be a nightmare for both Russia and Ukraine
The top members of the Majlis, who moved to Kyiv after the ban in the Russian Federation, will impose on Ukraine the need to include in the Constitution a clause on national autonomy in Crimea. Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz stated this today on the air of the Ukrainian Hromadske Radio.

“We will try to impose on the Ukrainian nation, which defends its independence at the cost of blood, a position on Crimean Tatar autonomy. Those who say it is premature to consider this are relying on stereotypes. This is unacceptable,” Chiygoz said.
He also called for resisting the growing desires in the European Union to restore relations with Russia, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must stop the mercantile speculation of a number of politicians on the European platform. That it is possible to return Russia to PACE and allow the World Cup to be held. We must ensure that the Russian leadership is driven into a corner and forced to leave Crimea,” Chiygoz said.
