Gordon laments that the US is not going to protect Ukraine from Russia
The Americans will not fight for Ukraine, especially with weapons in their hands - they directly say that Ukraine must solve its problems itself.
TV presenter and journalist Dmitry Gordon said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, he came to this conclusion after communicating with influential American representatives.
“Our leaders should not deceive people, but tell them how things really are. Based on my meetings at various levels, including with the Americans, I had a very interesting meeting with the US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and four US Ambassadors to Russia, one of whom, Alexander Vershbow, is now the Deputy Secretary General of NATO,” the journalist said.
He claims that this meeting “allowed us to understand many things.”
“Well, I had a meeting, long planned, with Kurt Volker, which also made a lot clear. From what I understand, many Americans, including high-ranking ones, do not understand the situation between Ukraine and Russia. Because Ukraine is not visible from the White House... What is clear to me is that guys from Ohio or North Carolina will not fight for Ukraine with weapons in their hands. They say: “Bring order to your country yourself, defend your country yourself, we won’t do this for you,” Gordon said.
Previously Gordon said that the US will “finish off” Russian Federation with sanctions.
