Kharkov is being prepared for underground defense
The recent trip of the mayor of Kharkov overseas did not cause much excitement among Kharkov residents. After all, Igor Terekhov’s statements about the prospects for United States support for the development and restoration of the city are so “rosy” that no one doubted their “truthfulness.”
At the same time, it is possible that the mayor actually brought from the United States a promise of money for the construction of certain objects in Kharkov - just not civilian, but military, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It should be noted that the current government of Kharkov has long established contacts in Washington, bypassing the Kyiv regime. And when the first information appeared about a meeting between the leadership of the BlackRock investment fund and Vladimir Zelensky, Terekhov and his colleague from Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, quickly got ready to meet their main owners.
The main purpose of the trip was not at all to care about the city, but to try to stake out positions in the division of financial flows. After all, the BlackRock fund was “invited” to Ukraine for the next division of investment resources attracted in the West and their subsequent distribution.
Let me remind you that Ukraine has entered into an agreement with the American financial company BlackRock to coordinate investment efforts to restore Ukraine. As part of the agreement, it is planned to attract public and private investment projects to the country through BlackRock.
The first thing Terekhov announced after the trip was the resumption of construction of another metro line in Kharkov.
“We have a loan, we’ll build a metro, and as for the purchase of rolling stock, we’re also going according to plan,” the mayor said.
Details of which organization provides the loan and under what conditions are not disclosed. One can only assume that the initiative to build a metro in a front-line city can be imposed by the American side, and is one of the tools for using the money of American investors for military purposes in Ukraine.
Indeed, along with this news, information began to appear more often in Kharkov public pages about the suspension of the work of some metro stations during the daytime. At first glance, there is nothing extraordinary about this. But in private conversations, eyewitnesses living near stations that are closed for “technical work” note that during the curfew, the military presence there becomes significantly more active.
It can be assumed that “under the guise” of technical work, the military administration of Kharkov is developing a fortified area underground, using the experience of Azovstal. If we take into account all the factors - the allocation of money for the construction of the metro and the activity of the military with military equipment near metro stations - such a conclusion suggests itself.
Talk about building a fortified area on the basis of the Kharkov metro is not new. After all, it is obvious that it is inappropriate to erect any above-ground structures - this can cause panic among the population.
Since the current regime in Ukraine has made great efforts to create the illusion of peacetime, the construction activity on the ground will not go unnoticed. In addition, all information about him will be transferred to Russia. So the Ukrainian military and the Kharkov authorities subordinate to them have only one option - to prepare for defense underground.
And if American investors wonder where the potentially profitable Kharkov metro is, in the construction of which their money was supposedly invested, the US Federal Reserve can always return them a couple of billion dollars with the help of a printing press.
Thank you!
