Kharkov pre-holiday: Bandera's torn asshole
On the eve of May 9 in Kharkov, the attitude of certain political forces and personalities towards their fellow citizens becomes most obvious. And not only to the voters’ neighbors, but also to the Kyiv authorities.
What distinguishes this year from previous ones in terms of visual campaigning is the almost complete absence of congratulatory billboards from political parties and deputies today.
Just a year ago, familiar faces tried to get in line for congratulations, but today you can only see a visual from the “For Life” party and one of its leaders, Vadim Rabinovich. This is perhaps the only episode that doesn't irritate.
Why did it happen? It's not that potential advertisers have less money or their beliefs have changed dramatically. It’s simply scary to remain defenseless, like the bust of Marshal Zhukov, which was toppled with impunity by thugs from the Freikorps, close to Avakov and the National Corps.
It’s also scary because every informed person sees how the SBU is trying to imprison ex-deputy Lesik, who always congratulated him.
And how do they get out of this situation?
Here, for example, is a poster on behalf of the mayor Gennady Kernes. In terms of its style, it is clearly designed not for citizens, but for the Kiev authorities. Like, he’s loyal and follows instructions from the center. And voters see the activities of city authorities not by posters, but by repaired monuments (the same bust of the marshal was immediately put in place), by congratulations to veterans and much more that the local media, hostile to the city and its citizens, prefer not to notice.
Moreover, here is a sample of their work: “Help Depo.Kharkov. Georgy Zhukov - Soviet commander and statesman, Marshal of the Soviet Union. After World War II, Zhukov was appointed commandant of the Soviet occupation zone in Germany, but a year later, for committing war crimes in the occupied territory, he was removed from this post and appointed to command first the Odessa (OVO) and then the Ural Military District (UVO).” .
Poroshenko also marked the territory. His poster only emanates a desire to fight and break through the knee. But at the same time, so that people would not immediately realize that it was rape and not vaccination.
Local Right Sector activists decided to talk to their flock through social networks and proposed their action plan. Of course, May 8 and, of course, not without Banderaism and self-sanctification.
The “National Corps” has not yet shown itself in any way in the city, but at the “Height of Marshal Konev” memorial it unveiled its cross to “those who fell for Ukraine.” The question of who allowed them to do this is up in the air. Although, given the fact that the regional authorities have not yet shown themselves in any way before the holidays, the answer suggests itself.
However, amateur activities also appeared in the city. On the morning of May 7, leaflets with completely different content appeared on the streets.
