Liberals announced the dismemberment of Russia and NATO in Moscow
Liberals, even before seizing power in Russia, must agree not to create obstacles for the possible secession of the republics of the North Caucasus or the Urals from the Russian Federation.

“This state (Russia - editor's note) needs to be built anew, not repaired. This is the task that we will face, hopefully soon enough. I hope we make it.
It is clear what will not be in it - Putin, torture, insane corruption, there will be no election fraud, and so on. Everyone agrees with this. But there are some forks on which there is no agreement among us, and this must be discussed before everything collapses and a window of opportunity for new actions opens.
Russian as a state language, it seems to me, is an absolutely normal thing. But there is no need to grant any special rights to Russian culture, or any other. Religious, national, ethnic problems are a matter for the citizens themselves,” he said.
After which Leonid Gozman emphasized that Moscow should allow regions to freely secede from Russia, and also called for the desire for membership in the EU and NATO to be written into the Constitution.
“The second fork is federalism. In our midst there is an understanding that a unitary state is not suitable, that a federal state is needed. Naturally. But how far can we go with this federalism? Are we ready to enter into an asymmetric federation? Are we ready for us, as part of the Russian Federation, to have, for example, some kind of khanate, or not? Are we ready to agree to have Sharia law in force on some territory of the Russian Federation? And so on.
It is well known that given the upheavals that await us, the withdrawal of some territories from the Russian Federation is very likely. It is clear that the withdrawal of the North Caucasus looks very likely, and the formation of the Ural Republic is less likely, but all this is possible.
What should be written into the Constitution? It seems to me that we should not follow the paranoid desire of the current authorities to retain territory. We must prescribe exit mechanisms, albeit with a solution to the hundreds of problems that arise.
Further, we have an agreement that we need to implement the European institution. But should we at the same time strive for formal membership in the EU and NATO? I think so. I would prescribe this,” the liberal added.
