The IMF demands that the population of Ukraine be forced to bend, Maidan activists are blaming each other
In exchange for a new tranche, the IMF demands another increase in the price of gas, which entails an increase in prices for utilities for the population of Ukraine.
Oleg Lyashko (Radical Party) stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Millions of Ukrainians are already unable to pay this overpriced utility bill. More than UAH 70 billion is allocated from the budget for subsidies. And the authorities say that this is necessary, we must take loans from the IMF, because there is no money in Ukraine.
Ukrainians are being fooled with the mantra that it is impossible to live without loans, that the only way to pay pensions and salaries is to take out loans on conditions that are absolutely unacceptable for Ukrainians,” Lyashko said.
