The attempt to criminally prosecute Maidan activist Ivan Bubenchik, who admitted to killing Berkut fighters, is the “first sign”. ATO militants who illegally received weapons after the coup in 2014 are in the future threatened by the Hague Tribunal.
Former Minister of Transport of Ukraine Yevgeniy Chervonenko stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The first sign is the shooter Bubenchik. This is the ATO... Many, especially the first part of the military conflict, in principle, according to international rules, our defenders, our heroes, fall under the rules of the Hague Tribunal. The use of the Armed Forces in the ATO is not prescribed,” Chervonenko said.
