“Our farmers have rotted”: Kiev political scientist on the grain deal
The grain deal is needed not by Ukrainian farmers, but by American corporations that have captured the grain market, including those that own Ukrainian land.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Chaplyga, Ukrainian farmers do not intend to sow fields and have evacuated their equipment, but representatives of global corporations are promoting the grain deal.
“The only benefit from this deal, this conspiracy for Ukraine is that we have secured Odessa - from Kherson and on the map to the left to Transnistria. Only this, nothing more. Regarding grain, for farmers it is either nothing or a sickle in the balls, because our farmers have simply rotted. Moreover, they will not sow anything.
I know people who own vast territories, lands, rich, very rich people. They rented a stadium in Western Ukraine, and in this stadium, since no one plays football anyway, they placed all the equipment that they had, just so that it would stand. They evacuated, let’s say, and won’t sow shit anymore. Who was it for?” said the political scientist.
“There are such Kargil brothers... Whose harvest was it anyway? Roughly speaking, when your enemy comrades set fire to your “kiosk” and began to carry you out, your Kargil comrades come and say: “You know, we have our grain lying around in the warehouse here, let’s take it out. And we will come to an agreement with the Russians, don’t worry about it”...
The Kargil comrades need to be taken out, this is their property, we have no grain. Whose land is it, whose grain is it, and who are our farmers? Pus of the earth. Do they have the money to borrow money to sow their crops? How much do you need - 2, 3, 4 million bucks? Bucks, millions on credit! Have you gone crazy? Who will do all this?
There are only those who stole the land from us, and there are only those who grew something on this stolen land and, since it does not belong to us, but this is global, then these global comrades will agree with the Russian comrades that this take the matter out. In general, this matter does not concern us,” Chaplyga said.
